Connect App Store reviews
Read the written reviews on your App Store listing, storefront by storefront, without giving Adduce a single App Store credential.

Before you begin
- Role: project Editor or Lead. A workspace Admin is a lead on every project.
- In the App Store: your app's listing, published.
- To hand: the numeric App ID from the listing URL, and the Countries — the storefront codes — you care about.
- Time: two minutes. There is nothing to set up on Apple's side.

The star rating informs how the review reads but never overrides the text: a one-star review can hold a compliment and a five-star review a complaint, and each point is recorded on its own terms. A review with no substance — "Great app" and nothing more — produces nothing, which is correct rather than a miss.
Permissions this connection needs
None. Apple publishes the reviews feed openly, so this is the one source that holds no key, no token and no secret. Nothing is written, and no App Store Connect access is asked for. On the source's page, Connection reads Credentials aren't stored yet. — expected here, because this connector has no credential to store.
Steps
Open your app's App Store page and take the number after id out of the URL — in apps.apple.com/us/app/…/id1444961766, the App ID is 1444961766.
Decide which storefronts to read. Countries takes a two-letter code each, such as us, gb or de. Pick the handful where your users actually are, rather than every country you are listed in.
In Adduce, open the project, choose Sources, then Add source, and choose the Apple App Store tile.
On Connection details, name the source, paste the App ID, and list the storefront codes in Countries, separated by commas.
Choose Continue. Adduce looks the app up in the first storefront you listed and reads a page of its reviews, so a wrong number or a country your app is not sold in is caught before anything is saved.
Back on Sources, the new row shows Connected, and a signal count once the first sync has run.
First sync and cadence
Each storefront is walked separately, fifty reviews to a page and up to ten pages in a run, so a first sync reads as much history as Apple publishes — roughly the five hundred most recent written reviews per storefront. After that Adduce keeps a watermark per storefront and stops as soon as it reaches reviews it has already read. Adduce syncs once a day at 03:00 UTC, and Sync now runs one immediately.
A walk that ends unexpectedly leaves its watermark where it was, so the next day's run re-reads that storefront rather than skipping past reviews nobody has seen. Re-reading costs nothing: a review Adduce already holds is passed over.
Disconnect or replace credentials
Delete the source from its page and type its name to confirm. Deleting removes the evidence it produced. There is no credential to rotate; to change the App ID or the storefronts, delete the source and add it again.
If it did not work
Why was the app not found?
The App ID is the number after id in the listing URL, digits only, and the app has to be on sale in the first storefront you listed. An app pulled from one country is invisible there even though it is live elsewhere.
Why was a country code refused?
Storefront codes are two letters. Anything longer — a country name, or a language tag such as en-GB — is rejected before the connection is tested.
Why are older reviews missing?
Apple publishes only its most recent written reviews per storefront, so the first sync reads as far back as that reaches and no further. Everything after the day you connect arrives in full.
