Manage your workspace

Export or delete your workspace

Take a copy of everything in your Adduce workspace, and schedule the workspace for deletion with a seven-day window to change your mind.

Your work is yours to take away, and yours to end. Both live at the bottom of Settings → General, and both are admin-only.

Before you begin

  • Role: Admin. Neither card is rendered for a Member, so a member cannot export or delete anything.
  • For a deletion, tell the rest of the workspace first. Everyone loses access the moment it is scheduled.

Steps

Open Settings → General. Organization name and Organization logo are at the top, and the two cards below them are the ones this page is about.

The first screen reaches the Export workspace data heading; Delete workspace sits below it. The workspace identifier is covered here — you may be asked for it if you contact support.

Choose Export workspace data. A row appears reading Preparing… while the archive is built, and the button is unavailable until it finishes — one export is prepared at a time.

Before you ask for one, the card reads No exports yet.

When the archive is ready the row turns into a Download button that names the day it expires. Exports stay available for seven days, and you can ask for another as soon as the current one is ready. If one fails, the row offers Retry.

Know what the archive holds: your workspace content — projects, evidence, themes, findings, briefs and their comments, investigations, transcripts with their original files, connected sources, objectives, key results and strategy. It does not hold enquiries, billing records or notifications.

Delete workspace schedules the workspace for permanent deletion in seven days. There is no dialog and nothing to type: press and hold the button for five seconds, and it fills as it arms. Everyone loses access straight away.

Callout 1: the press-and-hold button. A tap does nothing; releasing early resets it.

Within those seven days an admin can undo it — the card becomes Cancel deletion, which returns the workspace to normal access. This one card calls that person an owner, where the rest of the product says Admin; they are the same role. After seven days everything is removed for good, and no one can bring it back.

Deleting against letting a subscription lapse

They end the same way and on different clocks, so choose the one you mean.
