Manage members and roles
See who is in your Adduce workspace, change what someone can do, take access away, and find out why you cannot change your own role.
A workspace has two roles, and both are set in one place. Admin runs the workspace; Member works inside it.
Before you begin
- Role: Admin. A Member holds nothing at workspace level and does not see this page at all.
- Someone to change. To add people first, see Invite your team.
Steps
Open Settings → Members. Active counts the people who have accepted; Pending counts invitations still outstanding. Each row carries the person's role, what they have spent this period, their cap, and the day they joined. The Cap figures are covered in the picture below; they read normally in your own workspace.
Select a name to open that person's page. Role is a select with two values, Member and Admin. Choose one and Save role — the button stays greyed until the value actually changes.
Give one person their own spending limit under Token cap on the same page, or leave them on the workspace default.
To take access away, open the actions menu at the end of their row and choose Remove, or use Remove from organization on their page. Either way you are asked to confirm.
You cannot change your own membership here. Your row carries no actions menu, your own page shows a notice where the Role select would be, and Remove from organization is refused when the person is you.
What each role can do
Admin holds everything at workspace level; Member holds nothing there.

Removing a licence is a separate question from removing a person: a member and an outstanding invitation each hold one, so a workspace that is full refuses the next invitation until you buy another seat.
Projects carry their own roles on top of these, so a Member can still lead a project. See Add people to a project.
